CDA µFunctional Solutions - diffractive optical elements
REFRACTIVE DIFFUSERS
Refractive diffusers are defined as optical elements distributing incident light specifically across a surface. Other than with the diffractive diffusors the image is not produced by diffraction but refraction by means of a matrix of microlenses (few microns large). One therefore speaks of microlens arrays (MLA). There is a distinction between regular MLAs and irregular or random MLAs.
